Really good wine! Sangiovese nose and fruit with body by Cabernet Sauvignon. Paired with hot Italian sausage on Portobello caps and spaghetti it was a perfect pairing. This well-balanced blend was great even on its own.

One of the best Super Tuscan efforts from WA. I would put his up against Leonetti and Long Shadows any day. Sangiovese sticks out of the blend with it's classic rustic dusty cherry nose and lends much needed acidity to the wine to give it freshness and food frendliness. Again very very charming. Would work on its own but better with food. (Think rustic Italian - pappardelle with wild boar, pork scaloppine with marsala, eggplant involtini)
