Bert's pension party part 1 (@ BV): Garnet brown color. Mature bouquet with sweet licorice, figs, dates, rust and in the beginning even some dark berries. On the palate chocolate, cinnamon, ok acidity and completely dissolved tannin. Very soft and mild and slightly drying in the finish. The wine is in fact a bit too old, but still a pleasure to drink. Impressive!

An easy afternoon with close friends (@ FD): In the tertiary bouquet rust, blood, celery and soy. On the palate a nice surprise with chocolate, coffee, truffle, blood, rust and autumn impressions. There also is juicy acidity and still some pleasant and soft tannin. I don’t score the wine, but it was certainly still enjoyable.
