  • Still tasting amazingly good and in a great spot !!
Consumed with friends at dinner. A perfect cork after over a decade in the bottle. Dark burgundy color with no evidence of oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of blackberry, cherry, and savory tobacco and hints of violets. Flavors of boysenberry, blackberry, licorice, and oaky flavors of cocoa and mocha with a medium to long earthy finish. A very balanced flavorful wine from the estate in Dry Creek Valley. This is an age worthy wine with more life left, fortunately I still have one bottle of this vintage in my cellar to taste soon to validate this tasting note. Great estate fruit and a great winemaking effort.
