Recommend this Dry Creek winery as a destination when touring Sonoma County. This gorgeous Montepulciano varietal is unique in my (45 year) wine experience & is a treat.

Purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of aspirin, roasted meat, white pepper and mixed red fruit. Flavors of Bing cherries and red berries. Medium acidity, medium tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink now.

Just ok. Past its prime? Poor stemware? Not sure. Hard to rate. Went well with sausage and peppers.

Dry. Nice initial bite with a smooth finish. Deep red color with a slight brown bordering on brick. Long rich legs.
