  Showed astonishingly well tonight. Lingering tannins, good fruit. Great QPR! Glad to have more but will drink it within the next two years or so.

  Light decant. Didn’t take detailed notes but tannins and structure still very much intact. Fruit maybe fading a bit.

  Well-balanced, with fine-grained tannins and a silky texture. Pleasant nose, subtly sweet with earthy secondary notes and some spice. Unusually pronounced legs on glass. Good now and not likely to get any better.

  This held up beautifully over the years. I think it still has a number left to go but I don’t see it evolving much more (if at all). Grippy tannins are front and center but they fade and turn into a molten chocolate sprinkled with meat sort of thing. Really awesome stuff.
