Very underwhelming for the price point. Some muted fruit in the background but mainly spice notes of coriander and leather dominate. semi-rough tannins and slightly lower acidity make for an okay but not great experience here. Glad I don't have any more of this vintage.

Opened in bottle for 5 hours. 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Malbec and 2% Merlot. Seems fully integrated with the earthiness and tightness dissipating after 30 minutes. Extracted raspberry, vanilla, pepper, and cassis. Some secondary leather and cedar notes emerging. Drinking at peak now but has 4 more years or so in this range.

Nice and straightforward Napa cab. Good structure with elegant but chewy tannins, lots of fruit, will benefit from a few more years in the bottle or a nice long decant. This is a more substantial wine than the OPC, but I think the OPC is probably more approachable when young (although I've never tried them side by side)

Last bottle of a case last night. Still excellent but not a long life ahead of it.
