On tour with Tim and Phil day four (Rutherglen): Toffee, dried apple, orange, alcohol prickle lends a little peppery note, sweet spice and an oaky underpin. Lusciously sweet with tight, chewy, slightly woody notes and slightly muted flavours on the palate.

Real Review - Top Wineries of Australia (Est. Restaurant, George Street, Sydney): Rich, toffee, toffee apple, raisins, cream, spice, a little ripe apple but too much sugar for the acid, again this is heavy and lacks a bit of balance for me.

Wine-Ark boys on tour 2017 - Day 3 (Beechworth and Rutherglen): Savoury, figs, toffee, an almost VA note, slight chocolate and spice. Acidity, salinity, off dry, caramel, lacks a little fruit here

From the winery: Only the finest vintages are blended into this luscious wine. With base material coming from the early sixties only ten vintages since have been considered worthy of being blended into the Grand. With an average age of over 25 years this wine shows the supberb blanace of wood aged 'rancio' characters and rich, complex flavours. There are delicious notes of molasses, toffee, dark chocolate and Christmas cake as well as coconut and almond. A balance of freshness and age make this a very special wine.

This is a beautiful Muscat. Very strong butter, caramel notes. Long smooth finish. Absolutely stunning with a good Tasmania Blue Cheese. I love this.
