Best tasting so far (bottle 3 of 3). Drinking very well now on short decant. Good fruit with nice supporting secondary elements. Well balanced acidity. Excellent overall.

Muted cranberry, shoe polish, white pepper, and thyme on the nose. In the mouth the fruit leans dark and savory: meaty black olives (esp. Kalamata without the briny salt), dark cherries (unsweetened/not tart), raspberry cola, and a lingering tarragon. Wine bottles don’t have a turkey thermometer but if they did this one just popped! It needs time to open. Strongly recommend decanting at least 40-minutes prior to consumption. Super versatile: would pair well with BBQ ribs, lamb chops, grilled chicken, old world artisanal sausages, or pita bread dipped in Baba Ganoush or Muhammara. In other words this wine loves anything smokey.

Drank on Xmas day, was perfect with our roast turkey. Was great straight out of the bottle and needed no time to open up. More red berries that what I normally drink

Deep inky, plum and dark cherry. Rich and luscious but nicely balanced with handsome tannins
