Well structured... black fruit, eathy tones on the nose.... balanced on the tongue with strong oak flavors and earth... age for a couple more years to get the fruit to show more.

Sur le fruit, la cerise. Équilibre surprenant, facile à boire, donne une impression d'un vin très en santé. Coup de cœur lors d'une dégustation de plus d'une douzaine de vins.

Ted's note rings true. This is a deep garnet. Beautiful nose of dark fruits, slightly jellied (NOT jammy), with some violet at just a hint of vanilla oak. Some nice Tuscan underbrush, as well. Beautifully balanced on the palate as well, as there is good acidity and moderate tannins to suppor the lovely fruit, which is just delicious. This is in the upper echelon of Chianti Classico for sure. A little young, and I think a couple years will bring a tad more complexity, but this is delicious now.

Just tasted the Ca di Pesa Chianti. Profound nose of black fruits and even a touch of violets. Excellent depth and structure, marked by soft tannins. An outstanding wine. Will age effortlessly for 5 to 7 years. Wonder where to find this?

Best Chianti Classico I've had in quite some time. Fruit forward, but not over the top. Well worth the price.
