I usually like well-aged Bordeaux, and although this wine is a teenager, we greatly enjoyed it. No secondary characteristics yet, but the merlot fruit comes through beautifully.

Found it to be a little on the tight side initially but opened up after some time. Good fruit, very Merlot flavor profile. Nice wine!

Terrific bottle from an unheralded vintage. Aromatics of dark cherry, raspberry and red plum notes with a floral overlay. Voluptuous blue and red-fruited palate with great freshness and good length. Just lovely and the best part is this sells for a song.

👁 dark core with watery rim
👃 leather, musk, boysenberries,black currant (I said last time, still the same!)
👄 clearly more developed than last time, spicier, chocolate more milky, but still all the 👃 promises with gorgeous herbal and again spicy finish
Clearly behind the 2015/16/18/19/20 siblings but a superb wine in an underrated vintage.
Now - 2033+

Not sure why there's stingy ratings here, this is a lovely right banker in peak condition for drinking now. needed a mid session chill down as lost form above 18degress C, but other than that, lovely.. deep and delicious.
