  • This wine was reticent on the nose immediately after opening, but with time and some coaxing it showed very attractive autumnal forest floor earthiness, mixed with some sweet and some dry notes on the palate, a bit of bitter chocolate on the palate and sandalwood on the nose. It was not a particularly dense wine, but very graceful. I have no clue what kind of a vintage was 1935 in Spain, so it is hard to say if this was impressive or not given the conditions.
