The bouquet is a bit reticent with minerals and nuts and some oak. On the palate minerals, marzipan, beautiful acidity, a bit drying and a slight touch of sweetness in the finish. Beautiful and complex wine.

Very closed when chilly , but more expressive as it warms up, really needs to come to (almost) room temperature for full enjoyment
N- pineapple , floral m - somewhat lean, but as it warms I can appreciate the richness better. Develops a buttery flavor with some texture. Amongst three people, it’s only because we’re drinking out of a magnum that we got a chance to see it properly warm up and show its stuff. As a Montrachet neighbor I hope for great things from blanchot Dessus but have been disappointed.

This climat is the southerly extension of Le Montrachet. More mineraly than say La Boudriotte, closer in style with Les Chenevottes. Nose slightly close at first then notes of praline, honey, on top of lemon, citrus, etc. Medium plus acidity. Good intensity. Long finish with mineral note.

Poured from double magnum. This was a head-turner. Delicious white burg with brighter citrus-y notes with the presence and texture of a grand cru.
