Griotte-Chambertin Dinner (Graham Elliot - Chicago IL): Tasted double blind. Floral with apple, lemon and lemon peel aromas. Ripe on palate with the power and density that made most of us think this was Grand Cru. Long and lean finish. Very impressive bottle.

Drank over the course of two days. I really was not all that impressed with this bottle, one I picked up on Wine Bid. I paid about 55 bucks all in for this. Lacked verve and spine and instead came off as kind of sweet, with banana and coconut essences, along with some lemon lime hard candy. I also bought from the same vintage and producer the Champs-Gain, which I trust will be better?
