Medium ruby color, cloudy with some sediment. Well cellared, still lots of life. evolved nicely over an hour+. Was a little tight in the beginning, nose was floral, forest floor, lavender, spice in the first 20 minutes. This gave way to tart raspberry, spice. Medium finish.
This was a classic, elegant Burgundy. I didnt know the wine at all, but great example of how nuanced an experience great Burgundy can be when it gets some age on it.

Wine Monopole Leroy Dinner: Red fruit, leathery on the nose. Same with some spice on the palate. Good.

Dinner at Chez Walker with Debbie/Doug/Rebecca/Kevin: Dinner party at our place with Debbie/Doug/Rebecca/Kevin...our generous guests brought this one. Our first red of the evening.
