Cherry, herbal nose, Tart, well balanced sour cherry mouth. Finish is still nice and long. Not particularly complex, but very enjoyable. Drank best out of a relatively more narrow tulip glass (Riedel's vinum). Nose was lost and slightly vegetal out of the wider sommelier glass.

Appearance: Clear, medium (-) intensity tawny colour, with paler rims and legs. Nose: Clean, medium intensity and fully developed aromas of red cherry, damp forest floor, raspberry, savory, truffle, floral and earth. Palate: Dry, with medium (+) and sour acidity, light tannin which is dissolved already in the wine. Medium in alcohol level, this wine has a medium (-) body with medium (-) intensity flavors of red cherry, gamey, floral, earth and metallic. The finish is medium (-) in length. Conclusion: Acceptable quality Burgundy generic red. Reasonably complex nose showing much developed characters, the palate is weak, being light and without much fruit remaining, showing the wine is close to the end of its life and should drink immediately. The length is fairly short, overall the acidity is a bit too sour also. Ready to drink now and not intend for further ageing.
