Alas, Verterra keeps impressing me with the verve of their wines. Awesome pinot blanc. Zippy acid, roaring green apple and red pear thing. Minerals? A bit. Much more acid-driven than the generous Left Foot Charley pinot blanc. So lovely, so perfect for almost any food. So much better than any pinot grigio. Why don't more people love pinot blanc?! Oh, right–they haven't had one from Northern Michigan.

I didn't care for this. It followed a Chateauneuf-du-Pape blanc, a rarity, so that was a tough act to follow.
