Such solid cabs. Have bought over the years and rarely disappoint. Pretty representative mid-range (of course depends on your range!!) Napa cabs that is so much nicer than more expensive Caymus concoctions.

This ripe and plummy Cabernet tastes a bit past its peak, but it still offers a heady dose of fruit, if not complexity. Dark purple in color and full in body, the wine offers aromas of prune, blueberry, and pencil lead. Tastes of plum, gravel, and vanilla, with a brief yet silky finish. Blend of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot. 15% alcohol. This doesn’t quite have the energy of Morlet’s wines under his own label, but it’s enjoyable, if a little straightforward. It almost tasted fresher on second day, which made me wonder if I hadn't decanted it enough on the first night. Drink soon.
PNP, the first whiff from the bottle was pure, plumb (Plumb Essence to 10th degree), pleasure, with mild integrated oakyness. Poured from VinoAir stem. The nose was astringent, and a bit barnyardy at the initial wave, giving way to Cella's Cherry Cordial Chocolates, and a snort of Mint Essence. Let the bubbles settle, and waited a few minutes before tasting..... On the Palate, Wow!! Silky smooth as velvet, with a sweet succulent nectar-like entry, that followed through to the finish, with pure enveloped berry flavors, that descended into the sunset. Highly recommend at this time, approaching peak, and this is going to be a jewel of Napa within a two year period. 95+
