Bought this wine at the winery 2 or 3 years ago after a tasting. Deep rich flavors of cassis which were well integrated with subtle flavors of spice. Better the first day than the second.

Napa Valley Wine and Food Excursion 2013; 9/30/2013-10/5/2013 (Napa Valley, California): This opaque ruby wine is a blend of 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot making up the balance in unspecified percentages. Silky-textured and elegant, it packs a nice core of red and black fruit, accented with dried herbs, coffee and Asian spices. "Medium" is the proper descriptor for its body, acid and tannins, the latter of which are very fine-grained. The wine's alcohol (14.5%) is seamless and the middle palate is solid. Medium-to-long and smooth on the finish, this is one to enjoy over the next decade. Drink now-2023.

Very nice. Have to admit we were apprehensive about the screw top.
