  • BYO Centropa "vin utenfor Frankrike" (Centropa, Oslo, Norway): Ungdommelig, dyp mørk farge.

Mund: høj syre og tannin, ru tunge, prikkende i tænderne, varm sød rød frugt, kirsebær, vanilje, fad, marcipan, holder længe i munden,

  • Brought to drink at Oinoscent. 16 plots os vineyards in La Horra, vinified separately in steel vats, malolactic in oak (50% new, 50% 2nd use), ageing 16-18 months, 60.000 bottles production. Wine was uncorked 12.30, tasted 13.15 and slowly enjoyed over a few more hours

The wine shows vibrant, bright ruby color.
In the nose, the wine is brutally fresh, showing high density and intensity, ripe blue and black berries and cherries, sweet notes of oak and spices, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, a few milky notes
In the palate, the wine shows buckers of fruit, mostly red and blue (rather than black) fruit, cherries, again spicy with a thicker oak frame, tight tannins, a touch warm but not aggressively so, creme de cassis chocolate notes, medium to full body, long persistent finish
    Still a baby

  • Excellent. Vibrant color, no signs of bricking, looks much younger. Medium+ bodied, robust but not over extracted on the palate. Well integrated tannins. Needed some time to open up, best after 2-3 hrs in decanter.
