Beautifully aged and still vibrant and acidic. Dark fruit with some bing cherry tartness. But what a wonderful finish. Could easily lay down for even a couple more years with the good acidity. Well made and built to last.

An exceptionally smooth Pinot and comparable, if not better than the Gary Farrell Lancel Creek or Dijon Clones Hallberg. Hard to go wrong with any of these!

Chicago Pinot Days (Navy Pier - Chicago IL): Tasting, brief note. Easily my favorite of the Gary Farrell wines tasted today, this is also ripe but with more power, density and structure. Good energy as well, helping provide good balance and length.

Not my style, not rating for that reason. To me this is off balance and has too much fruit. Maybe it was bottle variation.
