Plum, leather and oak on nose. Palate is so smooth, round and long. Super quality. Tannins very present on opening but softened after 1 hr. Great now but upside in holding.

14.5% vol Opaque. Deep focused nose of dark fruits and flowers, also some creamy over-ripe elements, or stewed dark fruits? Developed or oxidised touches that are affecting the blue/black fruits. Blue fruit liqueurs; mouth-filling and smooth on the full side of medium-bodied. Pretty elegant initially, but then builds in intensity and grip, and spice ahead of a toasty finish. Bordering on austere come the end.

Tasted at Bodega. Intense, brooding, dark fruit. Full bodied, complex, dark plums, blackcurrant, spice, plush, moderate acidity, first glass is nice then become a little tiring to drink. Not really my thing.

Still a little young, but boy is this delicious. Dark, ripe fruit - think prune, blackberry. Clove, leather, oak, floral. Layered and long. Round in the mouth, sappy and fat but not at all inelegant. Long finish. Just super.
