  • Christmas Day dinner with salmon based opener. Limited note.
My last magnum and showed excellently with à point white cherry and crisp apple fruit. Core pebbly minerality. Zesty acidity brings this all together.
In a perfect place in this format, but probably won't benefit from further holding. Drink soon.

  • Pop and pour over 2 evenings.
I suspect it is in its "dumb" phase, the fruit was neither fresh nor pronounce, the mineral was pretty well in the far background.
The acid is holding everything together but there was not "wow"(not even a small one) nor "hmmmmm".
    Finish is medium.
Best hold for another year or two before opening.

  • This wine was truly lovely.
A very serious Chablis. Great structure and still blasting acidity, just as it is supposed to be. I have had this wine before, but now it has entered its drinking window, and is a lot more outgoing that just six months ago.
This was my only bottle though - so it is the end of the story for me. But some of you will have many great moments with this "little" wine.
