Not a lot to report. I thought the wine was a little young to open and was a tad more acidic than I wanted at the moment. But five days of being in the refrigerator opened it up a bit and rescued the experience. I have one glass left for tonight.

(Eight Bells Winery 8 Clones Syrah Red Willow Vineyard Yakima Valley) Aromatically vibrant with penetrating huckleberry notes along with plum, raspberry, and herbal accents. The palate is soft, elegant in its styling with supple, tart fruit flavors with chocolate nuances and a long, lingering fruit and smoke filled finish. Dee-licious and only gets better with time. 95% Syrah, 5% Grenache. 13.6% alcohol. 150 cases produced. Sample provided by winery.
