Discovered this bottle in my cellar, thought it would be past its best, but it was still fine; not much on the nose but soft citrus notes, not tart at all. Quite a pleasant suprise after our usual diet of NZ and Sth African SB.

A classic simple yet refreshing pour. Kristin was maing a nice tuna appetizer and I opened this and it was a pleasant trip down memory lane. We used to drink this by the case before we became wine snobs. Very light and pale in color, a hint of florals on the nose. easy minerals and a touch of citurs in the mouth. We look forward to finishing the bottle this week.

Ripe pineapple on the nose. Pineapple notes continue on the palate along with lemon zest and a hint of lime. The flavors on the palate die out fairly quickly, which may just be an indication that I am drinking this past its prime. A decent wine, but I do believe that it is overpriced compared to other nice pinot grigios from Italy and other regions.

I'm always amazed at the variety in the Pinot Grigio class. This particular one is a keeper. Light but bright, with lots of developing fruit and a complex but pleasant finish.
