I had one of these a few years back and recall a notable dill and more red fruited character that I actually liked but is no longer coming through. Very dense, black and opaque coloring with ruby to garnet edges that are clouded a bit with sediment (I did not decant this and probably should have). Aromas of dark fruits (graduating towards stewed as it's been open), dark chocolate, walnuts, pen ink, graphite, and a touch of violet. Medium body and finish, medium (+) acid, with flavors of dark fruits, a little tart black raspberry, dark chocolate, and a bit of mineral and spice. Good with a flank steak with chimichurri tonight.

Four years on and this has really developed. The tannins have receded quite a bit and this would pair well with a nice piece of beef. Tannins still there on the finish but not ripping your face off.
The dill notes on the nose and palate have resolved.
Really enjoyable now and have one more bottle to visit in on.

We really enjoyed this again. A lovely Spanish Tempranillo. Fruit and some oak on the nose, balanced on the palate. Amazing qpr.
