  Inky dark. Loaded. Gorgeous fruit including ripe plums, blackberries, raspberries, etc. Layers of flavors: briar, earth, coffee, fruits, all beautifully balanced now with its age. Plenty of life left, just coming into its own. Very French in style -- could easily pass for a big name Rhone. Just started to soften 3 hrs after decanting.
