enjoyed this bottle more that prior. Not great but really solid cooler climate sauvignon. Plenty of acidity and structure made this bottle really alive.

This bottle better than first. Solid balance, good acidity and decent length. complexity of palate was good w lemon and citrus but could have upped the anty w a bit more character.

A really good SB. Never heard of fermenting and aging in acacia casks, but it definitely works here. Lemon-green color. Nose of gooseberry, lemon, and some tropical fruit - maybe mango? But for me this wine is all about the palate vs. the nose. Lovely texture (from its sur lie aging), mouth-watering acidity, lingering salty minerality. Tropical fruit on the mid-palate. Long finish of grapefruit, salt. A great aperitif; I'm sure it would work well with food, too.

Not quite balanced, a bit thin and short, but quite mineral.
