  A very dark nose of forests, stems, and minerals, with little fruit to speak of. The body is assertive, big, and masculine. The palate tastes ripe but speaks of stems and minerals, not fruit. The wine's well structured with balanced acidity, textural tannins, and a long, spicy, woodsy finish.
