Dark garnet, opaque, full bodied, rich plum and blackberry flavors, medium smooth tannins, well integrated alcohol, long finish. This wine has matured beautifully, no adverse aging signs. This is an excellent wine, a pleasure to drink.

In the cellar for 10+ years, came across it looking for something unique to have with fajitas...viola. PnP, drank with Val and Charlotte over an hour.
Medium garnet color, slightly faded. Nose showing dark fruits, vanilla. Palate of dusted blackberry, cassis, cocoa powder. A bit pruney on the open, settled in after about 20 minutes. Medium weight and medium/short finish. Tannins resolved and smooth
Always an interesting wine. I think the motto was something to the effect of "the parts are great but the sum is better..." I remember this wine being very good circa 2010. This bottle was good but a few years past its peak...drink up

Brought to Superbowl party. I opened the 2005 a few weeks back which was really nice and wanted to check out the 2003. Very smooth and easy drinking without a whole lot of complexity. Tannins completely resolved with not harsh edges. Very nice and ready to drink up

Medium-dark garnet with a bit of sediment. Delicious vanilla and spice notes on the nose. Strawberries and cream, a bit of sassafras, a bit of slightly sour raspberry.

Very, very good. Enjoyed it with a steak on a grill and several friends. Outstanding.
