A Loring PN through and through. Nice juicy cherry fruit, big cinnamon and great lingering finish. Was the right wine with our apertizers of Bob's smoked salmon and Anita's roasted beets.

I have two friends who particularly like Loring Pinot Noirs. The few I have had always seemed like Cherry Coke to me, but I saw this bottle on sale and thought I would try one again. Tastes like Cherry Coke. Not bad.

Black berries after being open a couple of hours, but started out tight and more cherry. Some herbal notes and forest floor. More of a cocktail wine than food friendly.
7/31/2018 Seems to have opened up a lot since my last bottle, but definitely still dominated by black fruit and earthiness. A little licorice this time, too.

Fifteen months since prior tasting. Color is dark red. Scents are blackberry and some other dark berries. Tastes are consistent with scents, definitely blackberry.

Glunz Wine Tasting (Lincolnwood, IL): Walk around tasting. Black berries are mostly mature with good depth. Time to drink up.
