Everyone hates 2011 and especially in Oregon but not me. I'm loving it. Light bodied and high acid and low alcohol but not without class and flavor. Tart cherry.raspberry. Slight spice. Even a tad tannic. Very oregon and way more burg than you'll ever get from ca. A success.

Great Dundee Hills profile on the nose: Sour cherry, gravel road and dusty raspberry patch with a little of the dirty hay/cow barn thing happening. It's well balanced on the palate. Good acid and light tannin. Totally drinkable now but could use some time in bottle. Good stuff.

Oregon has an Old World flavor to it with their wines. This starts nuanced and subtle before opening up, but still to something soft compared to a Sonoma-type Pinot. Definitely worth decanting for an hour before drinking.

A solid effort. 2011 conditions showing through big time on this wine. High acid, light body. Plenty of pepper.
