Mainly Oregon (Noizé): Single blind. Mid cherry. Spicy oak nose. Quite sweet fruited and seemingly a little gloopier than when opened four hours ago. Quite a bit of density and persistence, but currently lacks some cut and freshness ***

Nice Dundee Hills red fruited nose, tannins nice and soft. Medium+ bodied mouthfeel keeps the alcohol in check. Very enjoyable after 30 minutes of air in the glass. Showed best at 62-65 degrees. This is still in a good place, but unfortunately was my last bottle. Drink now or hold a little longer.

Drank with Alex and Ethan in a trial of 5 different wine glasses. No formal notes other than the wine showed well in all of the glasses. Glad I have a couple more bottles; 2014 was a very good year for Winderlea and the whole of Oregon, in my opinion.

Had high hopes for this bottle but I was unfortunately let down. It was a bit dense and overpowering - not by fruit in a jammy way, almost felt like an over-oaked Cab. The delicacy of Pinot was stripped out - it didn’t do it for me.

No formal notes, other than this has put on a some weight. But not too heavy considering this is from a warmer vintage. Well done.
