2 hour slo-o. Enticing earthy bouquet, gorgeous translucent red hue, with superb texture, balance. As the wine sits in the glass, it takes on more finesse and elegance and finishes with considerable length. A wine with soul!

Acker Auction - May 2019 (Zuma in NYC): From a magnum. Overshadowed by a lot of the other wines at the event. It's red fruits and a touch herbal but in a fairly basic package.

I think it needs time, at least those in magnums. Five years and I think it will hit its peak...potentially a 91-92. Will keep my remaining mag for at least five more years.

Fantastic and in top form right now. Just the right amount of VA - not much upside from here if this bottle is representative.

A lean and classy northern nebb. Black cherry, leather, and a little bitter, woody spice. Quite lean - would prefer a pinch more flesh.
