  Meh. Many better options out there for the same price. It’s cherry cough syrup without the medicinal benefits. Didn’t hate it, but it’s going into my cooking wine collection.

  Pizza Night on the Parkway (Candie's, Mpls): Light-medium red color. Drank a glass over an hour plus. This was herbaceous and very green initially on the nose, twiggy, dried roses, with tart strawberry, green palate, light medium bodied. But this did a full about face and developed a beautiful perfume on the nose with the green qualities falling away. In the end, more what you'd expect. 91+ to 92pts.

  Very good. My first time with this in Jero format, and wow, talk about the gift that just keeps on giving. Tasty, elegant, and deeply satisfying across three days, each offering slightly different highlights. Love the fresh red fruit, some mushroom, tar and savory elements, etc. Great sense of place in an elevated, yet completely approachable, traditional style. Excellent value in 750ml format, I should think. Now, and the next several years. highly recommended
