Thought we'd give this a try as an aperitif with some simple apps. Did not expect it to be anything but dry, and it was. Not a wine to get excited about - high on minerality, low on fruit. No real presence, even if nothing objectionable. Definitely better Proseccos out there, especially if drinking straight. Tried to salvage the second half of the bottle by mixing it into an Aperol Spritz. Not bad here.

Piemonte wines tasting (at my home): pleasant light Prosecco, fruity, fresh, dry, and enjoyable as aperitif

Light, floral with a touch of toast. Easy to like, easy drinking and really refreshing.
