  Red around a magenta core. Blackberries, violets, and a touch of spice in a pretty nose. Medium bodied, tart cherries, cranberries, grainy tannins, tobacco, sage, a bit of heat, and a dry medium finish. I think it needs more time, a couple of years at least.

  Very nice Napa Cab. All dark fruits and moderate tannins with good acidity. Alcohol comes through a bit on the finish (14.5). Should be able to up the rating a few points by waiting another year or so.

  Complex with fruit flavors that range from blackberries and cherries to black currants. Medium bodied. The tannins smoothed out nicely with age. I would say the wine is currently at it's peak.
