  • Red fruits balanced by a mouthwatering acidity. Lots of nice fruit yet, but starting to show some earthy components too which adds to the complexity of this wine.

  • This continues to improve. Probably the best showing yet for me. The fruit has really matured and lightened, more in a strawberry spectrum now but still very fresh, tannin has mostly resolved, acid has come forward and the balance is great. Finishes a little short but overall very good experience if you still have these lying around. I think finally hitting stride and if I listened to myself in 2019 and waited 5 years I think this will be at peak. Unfortunately my last bottle.

  • Still quite youthful with many miles ahead. Fun funk and earth on the nose with darker berry fruits underneath. On the palate darker cherry and a cola note. There is a lot to love with this medium plus, edging to full bodied Pinot noir. I will probably try to hang on to my other bottle for at least 3 or 4 years. Really good and probably a good filet or New York strip accompaniment.

  • Still very youthful, lots of florals, roses and dried violets, palate still very much dark cherry with a touch of hard cherry canndy/cola, some oak spice, good grip, nice acid, and lengthy finish. Wes really had this wine dialed in. I am impressed at how youthful this is at 7 yrs old. Will likely continue to evolve for quite a while as this shows no signs of aging. Only have one left and hope to be patient enough to try in 2024 as I imagine 5 more years and this will be singing.

  • Very translucent dark ruby color. Delivery is about as elegant as it's appearance, nose has a touch of funk, dark cherry, spice and some oak. Palate is lean with mineral presence, good acidity and vibrant darker pinot fruit. Showing pretty nice now and may develop a bit with more time. 91+
