Pale steely green; some sulfur evident on the nose, mineral, lemon, light on the grassiness and grapefruit, rich almost like there is some malo; medium body, round edges, good acid, some chives on the finish; good just doesn't seem to be classic Sancerre.

Nina and Mathias family dinner (Umeå, Sweden): Quite a typical Loire SB, sporting restrained cassis leaves, nettles and a crystal clear feeling. Very young and should be greatly enhanced after some 5-10 years on its back. Loved by all and went well with the food.

Blind tasted. Apple, lime zest, slate, lemon peel, honeysuckle, salinity, med plus acidity. Guessed Albarino.

Classic Sancerre sav-blanc. Fruity rather than mineralic but ok length, not very complex, but a nice drink.
