Ruby with medium depth. Ripe red cherry, concentrated with a rush of sweetness. A little on the heavy side. Palate much fresher, with highish acidity and smooth chalky tannins. Juicy red cherry. Medium length. Nice Cab Franc, but not really singing tonight. Good.

The phrase 'simple pleasures' springs to mind drinking this wine. First night, little over-bearing and could have been from any southern hemi wine growing region. However, opened up little and calmed down on day 2. Vibrant dark crimson in colour with black cherry on nose and palate. Maybe some spice coming through, cinnamon? Perfectly lovely for an entry level wine. No greeness, a wine to try if you 'think' you don't like cab franc. Worth a case if you are passing the cellar door. Not sure where this might lead with some cellar time, maybe nowhere better - but why wait (provided you give it some air time).

Lovely fragrant nose, silky smooth with ripe tannins. Excellent value as I bought it at the domaine. Can't wait to drink another bottle.

Deep purple colour, soft and ripe in structure, big blach cherry flavours. Good in a ripe vintage style.
