Rich gold. Mild sherry and oak nose. Tasted at the winery. Really sang compared to the 2015 and 2022 that were also offered. Complexity, mild and integrated oak with a hint of oxidation. Perfect drinking window now. Unfortunately, sold out!

Mature Oregon Chardonnay showing the evolution to rich gold color with complex nutty and dried fruit aromas repeated on the palate. Round and smooth without the bitter elements often introduced with too much oak. A dramatically different wine than the fresh, crisp, minerally expression when first released. May not appeal to those who prefer the freshness of younger chardonnays, but appreciably more complex now. Should probably drink up soon before it enters a more oxidized phase.

Surprisingly toasty and almondy aroma - for its age previous vintages have seemed fresher. Pleasant fruity flavor at entry but quickly to almond skin and tacky texture and flavor. Seems an outlier compared to previous vintages, but do enjoy candied flavor of citrus and tropical fruits.

Wow. I wonder if I had a flawed bottle. This was really, really funky. Not at all like the notes others have here. I know what a corked wine tastes like and I wouldn’t describe it that way. But this was super funky/earthy with obviously a lot of oak. But I wouldn’t describe it as “minerally” or “bright.” Confusing. I didn’t hate it though.

Golden color, medium bodied but light to drink, nice bouquet, tasted almost fresh for a 7 year old wine but has developed some complexity, good structure with long finish, fruit and acid are nicely balanced, drank with grilled swordfish, love DDO chards, the hint of wood adds to the impact, last bottle.

Really nice. Well balanced. The flavor is dominated by a tart apple, but not very "apple-y" if that makes any sense. Some oak, a little bit of underlying rocky minerality. Pretty.

Lots of complexity to this wine. It went really well with Dungeness crab with black bean sauce and also held up to asparagus with the black bean sauce, too. Very subtle but still noticeable oak, citrus elements, smooth but with some backbone to it. I could drink a lot of this wine and wish I had more left.

This continues to be a very good and enjoyable example of Oregon chardonnay. A lovely and pure nose with ripe pear, peach, lemon zest, jasmine and lilac. The palate has lovely energy and freshness with crisp orchard fruits, floral notes, and very nice depth. The finish shows lovely balance and staying power. Certainly one of the best US Chardonnays available and this is a lovely vintage. No hurry to drink

Pale greenish yellow. Wet stone, baked apple, pear and smoke aromas. Crisp acidity, polished texture and refreshing taste are here. However, short finish, simple layer and flabby structure disturb overall balance of the wine. Well made old-world style Chardonnay, but not that great for uppish price. Alc. 14.1%

One of the best Oregon chardonnays I've had. Nose has lime, cilantro, green apple, hints of stone. The palate is fresh, crisp, and refreshing with good depth of flavor and balance. Definitely more in a Chablis style and very enjoyable.

Very good, lean, minerally and Old World chablis style Oregonian chard enjoyed tonight with Kim at Artisanal restaurant in Banner Elk NC - paired very well with seafood. Not a good QPR wine at the restaurant price but indeed quite a good QPR wine at the average CT price. Drank out of a 375 cc split. Initially served too cold but turned out to be just delightful as it warmed up. Medium bodied, short aftertaste and well balanced with enough acid and structure to easily cellar a couple more years. Muted somewhat acidic nose of lemon zest, green apple and mint with a somewhat warmer flavor profile of red apple, minimal oak and butter, lemon grass and a hint of white pepper. Definitely recommend this wine.

Really nice bottle of domestic Chard. Has some of both the characteristics of CA and Chablis, I was really hoping for more Chablis leaning as I opened the wine but no doubt quite a bit of CA leaning shines through too (and probably too much if you want a lean/crisp chard). Still a nice wine that I would happily drink again, although probably not purchase.

Nose of lemon, florals and stone. Bracing minerality / acidity on the palate, lemon, stone and a touch of oak. A tiny bit of the salinity that one might find in a Chablis. Should drink this side by side with a 1er Cru Chablis and the Montelena chardonnay to compare. Very nice - will buy more.

Popped and poured. This bottle of Oregon chardonnay is as close as you can come to Chablis without literally buying a ticket to Paris, taking the train to Chablis, and holding out your glass for a pour. Pale yellow in color but loaded with unoaked goodness. Flinty and chalky at the outset, lemony and floral at the finish. This wine is essentially the anti-chardonnay. No butter, popcorn, or caramel here. This mineral and acid driven baby is for big boys and girls. 93pts.

Dry, pale, yellow color, very light in complexion. Floral, zesty nose. The body is very similar, light-bodied and airy, bringing tart and crispy lemons, peaches, pineapples, touches of sea salt, and loads of crushed rock and minerals, which finishes against just a hint of oak and spices.
