  Benvenuto Brunello - Toronto 2014 (Toronto, ON): Tastes and smells identical to the previously tasted Banfi Rosso, but with added vanilla extract. Still severely candied and medicinal.

  Dark ruby. Nose is full of strawberry, some new leather, and some herbal character. Palate is brisk, lots of acidity dominates the mouthfeel, complemented by bone-dry strawberry and red cherry flavors. Finish is medium+ with pronounced tannins. Benefits a lot from pairing with fatty food. Solid and simple rosso, good quality, but nothing special. 15/20
