Unfortunately this bottle was on its decline. Could still tell that it was a well made with dark smoky earthy fruit. Pity I did not open it a year earlier.

eye: purple-red with a pinkish rim, transparent. Nose: Vegetal, barnyard funk, grape jam and plums Palate: Herbaceous, bitter, ripe cherry with soft tannin and Short-Medium finish.
Overall this a good example of Cab Franc from Loire. Nothing to write home about but enjoyable.

Deep purple, sour cherry, and herbal, cab-franc-funk, still good, but I'd drink it now.

Lovely pure fruit, good focus, good medium-high acidity, nice refreshing green notes, not excessive. Some polish. Tasty. 12.5%, $24.
