A lot of lesser known Italians. (Belvino): I liked this one. It is a relatively inexpensive big fruit take on sangiovese. The nose is full of cherries and sandalwood and a bit of tea. Juicy acidity. Lots of fruit on the palate. Medium tannins. Nice finish. There is a really nice energy to this. A pretty "international" take, but that's fine with me. I am not sure I worry to much about sense of please in Emilia Romagna wines. I am happy to trade that off for deliciousness.

2/4/2015 - VDLT Wine Does not like this wine:
Decently made but overly stylized and oaked. Seemingly done in an international please all (but me) manner.
