We took this magnum to Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House tonight to enjoy with the seafood before the Bob Seger show. The wine showed well will a myriad of seafood dishes and was a delightful treat!

Brought to a restaurant for dinner. Absolutely lovely wine with aromas of apple, lemon, custard, hints of buttered toast and honeysuckle. Could smell wine this all day. Similar flavors on the palate with citrus curd, apple and lemon. Medium+ acidity and medium body with a creamy, richly flavored finish. Wish I had more of this in the cellar.

Yellow color with a somewhat muted bouquet and flavor, dominated by allspice with a bit of citrus. Moderate acidity with limited nuance. The wine may be showing its age, but may also be dumbed down by the Flower's style. Another bottle tasted soon after about the same.

Clear, medium-gold color, coating the glass. Aromas of butterscotch, lime zest, slate and honeysuckle- secondary, developing, with nice intensity. Richly elegant on the palate, drinking with nice intensity and showing luscious lemon curd and lime zest fruit, with a kiss of vanilla accenting secondary floral, mineral and spice depth. Dense mid-palate, with fine silky texture and ample acidity. Juicy, dry, long lingering finish. Outstanding- showing very well.
