When I found this wine in my cellar my first thought was maybe I should have opened this when it was younger. Wiped out a bit of sediment tht had collected in the neck of the bottle but no decant, I just poured it into the glass. Cherry fruit in the nose. Raspberry and cherry flavor along with a bit of earthy forest floor character that I would expect from a Pinot Noir. Long fruit finish well balanced with the acidity. This is a very enjoyable wine. This is likely my last bottle, wish I had a few more to see how this would continue to develop. It is excellent now and I think this wine will continue to evolve and remain an interesting wine for a few more years.

Just WOW! Decanted for 2.5 hours. Dena and both loved the depth and gentleness of this Grenache. Just like Dena likes 'em! Definitely have the last one this year, 2021.

Needed a minimum of 15 minutes in the decanter to open (with a small amount of sediment), and continued to open for another 30 minutes. A beautifully aged blend of 90% Grenache + 10% Syrah. Red fruits abound on the nose. These carry over to the medium bodied palate along with some spice, smooth resolved tannins, and just enough acidity to create a nicely balanced wine with a smooth, bright finish. Not sure how long this wine can hold this enjoyable level, so enjoy in the next year or so.
