Gorgeous brick red color out of the bottle. Mature nose of spices, cedar, and to a lesser extent medium red fruits. Initial taste is full of spices and finishes with a good amount of wood smoke and tobacco, in a nice good way. Strong acidic backbone complements the wine nicely. Berries and some sweetness come out after 45 mins or so of air. Do yourself a favor and drink this with grilled meat or smoked cheese. This is definitely a wine that needs food as the smokiness can be overwhelming.

Quite herbal and capsicum on the nose, but I like that- classically, it is what makes Cab and Carm so food friendly, the savouriness that the herbal/dill/capsicum range brings - med deep carmine w slight brickiness - pungent nose of herbs, capsicum, red berries - just based on the nose, I would love to re-try this 5 or even 10 years from now - palate shows the same as palate but with more red berry - long savoury finish with good tannic grip, a great accompaniment to a steak or fajitas.

very dark inky purple. 14.5% alc. dark berries and spice. 36% Carmenere 34% Merlot 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Really tasty. Fruit and spice offsets very dry but smooth tannins, with an herbal tea and tobacco finish. A humongous age-worthy wine value!
