  • Raspberry, leather, vanilla and smoke nose. The palate is fresh and mouthwatering but with lovely sour black cherry fruit, finishing with cherry stone bitterness and a drying tannin bite. Sweet and sour, rich and refreshing, this may not taste grand but there is so much here for the money, it demands to be repurchased. 89

  • The wine was medium to dark ruby in colour and offered red and dark berries, red and dark cherry, yoghurt, a hint of cocoa, black pepper, liquorice and some vegetal notes/a touch of greenness on the nose. On the palate the wine showed red and dark fruit, red currant, red and dark cherry, cinnamon, clove and liquorice as well as hints of chocolate and coffee, with some greenness, medium-level acidity, dry, slightly green and bitter medium-level tannin and some heat from the alcohol. The medium- to full-bodied wine was slightly bitter, seemed underripe and finished short. Would not buy again.

  • A little bit to herb/rough in my option

  • color: medium-dark purple velvet; nose: earth and cherry fruit -- but just barely; taste: rounded medium-bodied mouth feel, chalky and muted Old World cherry fruit taste, medium-length chalky finish and complementary tannins; overall: pleasant Old World juice -- unassuming, modest, and ready-to-drink -- which probably would pair well with good pizza, grilled chicken, or grilled burgers.

  • Interesting taste. Good value. If u are looking for something different this is it. Very drinkable just not common flavors. Nice change from cabs and other common grapes.
