This is nice medium bodied wine that went well with turkey dinner. It had dark fruit and some earthness aromas, light on the tannins and nice smooth finish.

Nose is of dark fruits, with some earthiness to accompany it. There is a floral touch, almost an orange tea like aroma. Medium bodied wine, with dark fruits. Decent finish, slightly spicy. A good QPR wine. 86 pts.

Full ruby color. Nose: cherry jam, strawberry, almond biscotti, chocolate, and a little hot pepper. Palate: mouthfull of fresh black cherry and raspberry with chocolate, a little graphite, and a suggestion of coconut macaroon. Juicy acidity. Moderate, dusty tannins. Solid finish. Great little wine. Excellent value.

We enjoyed this a lot more than the previous taster. The rustic side was a plus for us. Just as pleased with this vintage as last year's. This is a wine born to be paired with food. Its bold enough to stand up to beef or Italian. Very nice vintage.
