Honey suckle and a lighter weight which was really nice. The lighter baked apple brie w a bit of cinnamon on the follow We just love the overall style if Michel bc he makes it about the grape and terrior and without the oak Drinking beautiful Now
Ps. Avacado and lump Crab salad.

Armand Rousseau Chambertin Dinner (State Street Manor - Chicago IL): Subtle apple character throughout with a faintly spiced note. Not tired, but surprisingly lackluster for Grand Cru. Good weight and concentration, but just thinner flavors profile than expected, or certainly in comparison to the Moreau in the next glass.

Chicago Wine Flock...Burgundy Al Asks "Is it Grand Cru?" (My home - Chicago IL): Served blind alongside the 2012 Chassagne AC and Champs-Gain 1er. I knew the 3 wines, but not the order. Ripe apple and baked apple with a firm structure that made it seem almost austere, even with clearly ripe. This had the greatest concentration of the three, making me think it the Grand Cru. Needs time, 2020-.
Postscript: I noticed the bottle had almost 2 ounces remaining, almost 30 hours after it was opened. The bottle was open at room temperature the entire time. It was better (richer, fatter, longer) vs when poured and served Friday night.
