This wine had a deep yellow center and clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose showed hazelnuts, lemon, minerals, and apple.
In the mouth, this wine was medium bodied with a nice texture, excellent minerality, and great acidity. However, to my taste, the balance was skewed toward the wood elements to some degree.
The underlying material here probably would have rated a 96, absent the excess wood. It see no reason to wait for this wine to get better.

Burgundy dinner (The Grill Room at Capella Hotel Georgetown): Incredibly youthful color with a hint of green. There is a hint of something off, TCA perhaps. Incredibly youthful nose displaying yellow fruits, lemon curd, smoke, oyster brine, honey and mineral. Perfectly balanced palate, beautiful cool yellow fruits and lovely long sweet finish. This closely resemble the 92 Leflaive Batard in that despite not showing much acidity, it magically maintain exceptional balance and precision. I noticed a hint of TCA in the beginning which bothered two other winos. If clean, I bet this would have been in the high 90s. It is interesting that one of Mr. FCLARITY’s bottle was also TCA tainted.

A lazy Sunday afternoon gathering –All Burgundy (Eddie V's - Tysons Corner, VA): Another TCA tainted bottle. It is trading above $1k. At this point, Caveat Emptor!

I liked this bottle, and really enjoyed it. The table was indifferent and a couple simply didn't like it.
